Aaron Rose is the Co-Founder and CEO of Sandbox Carbon, a climate tech startup making it dramatically easier to cut emissions from combustion-based systems. His company’s flagship product—the Carbon Dumpster™—is a modular carbon capture unit that connects to furnaces, boilers, diesel generators, and other small emitters, enabling up to 90% CO₂ reduction without major infrastructure upgrades.

Aaron’s work focuses on serving the overlooked segment of small and medium emitters—like commercial buildings, backup power systems, and mobile generators—where electrification is often cost-prohibitive or operationally unreliable. Prior to founding Sandbox Carbon, he was an Innovation & Technology Engineer at Xylem Inc., developing sustainable solutions for water infrastructure.



Aaron holds a degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from MIT. He combines technical depth with a systems-level view of energy infrastructure and is passionate about deploying practical, scalable climate solutions that meet customers where they are today.
