Scaling High Performance: Explore Illinois Green's New Strategic Plan

Join Illinois Green Alliance for a special webinar introducing our new 2026–2030 Strategic Plan, Scaling High Performance—a roadmap for advancing high-performance buildings and sustainable communities across Illinois over the next five years. Don’t miss the chance to hear how you can get involved and support Illinois’ building transformation.

This program will reflect on the progress we’ve made through our last Strategic Plan, highlighting key achievements in education, policy advancement, and market transformation that have laid a strong foundation for this next phase of work. Building on these successes, we’ll share how the new Strategic Plan shifts from proving what’s possible to scaling what works—reaching more communities, sectors, and building types statewide.

Participants will gain an overview of Illinois Green’s four core strategies for the next five years:

  • Championing high-performance building practices through expanded education and knowledge-sharing
  • Supporting green building policies that reduce emissions and deliver community benefits
  • Promoting sustainable investment strategies that align performance with long-term value
  • Engaging all building professionals across Illinois to ensure high-performance buildings are the norm in every community

The webinar will also highlight how this Strategic Plan guides Illinois Green’s programs, partnerships, and priorities—and how members, partners, and building professionals can play an active role in advancing this work. Attendees will leave with a clear understanding of Illinois Green’s vision for the future and practical ways to get involved in building a healthier, more resilient, and more equitable built environment across the state.
